IN A NUTSHELL
This internship is ideal for a digitally savvy person with an interest in hotel Channel Distribution, Revenue Management and Digital Optimization. You will support in auditing hotels technology set ups and get a behind the scenes look on how hotels can optimize their commercial performance.
Gain insights to all topics that relate to the use of SynXis booking reservation system and enable hotels with the fundamentals to influence their distribution channels. You will be tasked to audit and implement best practices relating to rate products, descriptions and installing digital marketing tactics.

- Compensation: EUR 1000 / month
- The internship must be a compulsory part of the study program

- Perform Design Hotels System health checks - auditing rates, descriptions, cancellation policies, images in the SynXis CRS and SynXis booking engine
- Perform rate parity checks across all channels. Ensuring the best prices are sold on Designhotels and Marriott direct channels.
- Enable Best Practice features in the SynXis booking engine
- Assist with enabling Google ads and Meta Search campaigns for hotels
- Assist with installing product enhancements for Designhotels.com
- Work closely with the distribution team and other interns of the distribution team to resolve cases and at times assist with rate loading or other distribution and maintenance requests
- Work closely with the Commercial Strategy Team and the Director of Commercial Strategy to prepare for quarterly digital and revenue management reviews
- Good organizational and project management skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable collaborating across multiple teams
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English (German is a plus)
- A great experience in the niche market of luxury boutique hotels
- Working in a motivated and international team from over 39 countries at the global Headquarters of Design Hotels located in the creative Media Spree area in Berlin
