About The Role
This is a full-time, on-site internship in Berlin for a duration of minimum 12 weeks, starting early April 2026. You will assist with the technical creation of our SS27 collection through sewing and hand-crafting techniques. The role is primarily hands-on and includes material research and supporting the daily logistical tasks of the atelier. You will work in a creative and open environment where the focus is on the craft of slow fashion. We provide weekly 1-on-1 check-ins to offer direct feedback and support your development.
About The Brand
MARIE-LOUISE MÜLLER is a Berlin-based slow fashion label. We merge traditional crafts like crochet, knitting and embroidery with conceptual storytelling. The label uses natural fibers and upcycled elements to build a connection between the wearer and the garment. Awarded Best Craftsmanship at NEO.Fashion 2024 and a member of the Fashion Council Germany, the brand has been showcased at Der Berliner Salon and Fashion Positions. Recent work has been featured in Vogue Germany, Grazia and L’Officiel.
Qualifications
- A solid foundation in sewing and garment construction.
- The patience and focus required for handcrafted production.
- An organized approach to tasks and a willingness to learn specialized techniques.
- Interest in the values of slow fashion.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion or Textile Design.
- This position is well-suited for a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum).
- Fluency in English is desired.
