Your Role
Our Power Conversion Application Firmware Team is currently looking for two students enthusiastic about supporting our powering AI data center solution.
We are looking for a student to join our team in Dresden and another student to work in Munich.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that are at the forefront of current technological advancements, tackling real-world challenges and developing innovative solutions that are shaping the future of the industry.

Your Role
Our Power Conversion Application Firmware Team is currently looking for two students enthusiastic about supporting our powering AI data center solution.

Key responsibilities in your new role
- Firmware Development and Documentation: Gain familiarity with Infineon PSOC Control Microcontroller and supported firmware control and development while ensuring proper technical documentation aligned with power conversion applications
- Testing and Automation: Perform Model-in-the-loop (MIL) and Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing activities and support development of customized testing libraries and test cases using Python
- Power Electronics and System Understanding: Develop knowledge of basic circuits and power electronics topologies to support firmware validation and testing activities
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Study field: Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering with focus on Power Electronics and/or Embedded Programming
- Technical skills:
- Basic knowledge of C/C++, MATLAB, and Python, as well as experience working with embedded systems or low-level programming
- Familiarity with Infineon microcontrollers, firmware development, and MIL/HIL testing environments is advantageous
- Understanding of basic electronic circuits and power electronics topologies is beneficial
- Organizational skills:
- High level of motivation, initiative, and reliability, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to contribute to firmware development, testing, and documentation activities
- Availability: Currently enrolled in a Master’s program and available to work for at least one year
- anguage skills: Fluent English skills, German is a plus
- CV in English
- Certificate of enrollment at university
- Latest grades transcript (not older than 6 months)
- High school report
- Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
- You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
