Your Role

  • Work in close collaboration with the Deployment team on the full development cycle of one or more software components for automated off-road driving and their application to real-world vehicle platforms.
  • Depending on your interests and the team’s priorities, your focus may include:
    • Feature development, profiling and benchmarking of software components like
      • The driveblocks off-road 3D state estimation module
      • The sensor (camera/LiDAR/IMU, …) drivers
    • Enabling continuous integration pipelines on target compute platforms (e.g., NVIDIA-based and others).
    • Software release preparations and functional testing.
    • Data management for AI module re-training; involvement in data recording activities in off-road environments.
    • Maintenance of our development vehicles.
    • Preparation and involvement in demos for customers and investors.
  • Your work directly contributes to safely operating heavy machinery in real-world environments.
Your Background

  • Active driver's license.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science, informatics, engineering or related fields.
  • Practical experience in software development, e.g. through past work experiences, intenships, Formula Student, etc.
  • Ideally experience with embedded control units.
  • Ideally experience with Linux, Cpp, git, ROS2, containerized development processes, CI/CD frameworks.
  • 15+ hours availability per week.
