AI-Powered Marketing Content Intern in LNG & Crude Trading (m/f/d)

Our clients are major energy companies and global trading houses who do physical trading of LNG and crude oil. They use our software daily to optimize their trading decisions and portfolio management. Our flagship product X-LNG is the leading optimization platform for LNG trading worldwide. Headquartered in Berlin with offices in London and Regensburg.

About the Role

Join our team and work at the intersection of content creation, commodity trading, and AI. You will use AI tools to produce all of our marketing and educational content: case studies, website copy, course materials, pitch decks, and more. Everything you create will be based on real quantitative trading results. You will work closely with the CTO and learn how global LNG and crude oil trading actually works.

Responsibilities

• You will create a lot of content, using AI tools
• Turn quantitative trading case studies (portfolio optimization results, P&L analyses, shipping logistics) into polished marketing assets
• Create and maintain content on the Calypso Commodities website
• Build educational and onboarding content for our learning platform XCourses
• Produce pitch decks, product briefs, one-pagers, social media content, and email campaigns
• Work with real market data and trading scenarios to create compelling stories
• Support client-facing materials and project delivery
• Support on general startup topics as they come up

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Strong written English. You will be creating content for an international audience of traders and commercial decision-makers
• Hands-on experience with AI tools
• An eye for clean design and clear messaging
• Interest in commodity trading, energy markets, or quantitative finance
• Comfort working with numbers and quantitative narratives
• Self-motivated with a hands-on mentality
• Currently based in Berlin
• Experience with design tools like Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Basic understanding of web design and CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Webflow, or similar)

Bonus: You've built or created something using AI tools.

What to Expect

You will create a lot of content. A steep learning curve in both commodity trading and AI-driven content production. Direct collaboration with founders and senior team members. Exposure to global energy markets and enterprise clients. Responsibility for real deliverables from the start.
