Who We Are
Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.
To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.
What You'll Do
You will play a key role in the end-to-end execution of Decoding Global Talent – the largest global study on workforce preferences (60+ markets) and one of BCG's most successful publication series with broad global media coverage. This role includes finalizing survey content with internal stakeholders, setting up and managing the survey tool (including exploring GenAI-supported solutions), coordinating translations and localization, and managing external survey partners worldwide. You will track participation rates, liaise with markets to drive engagement, troubleshoot issues, and support the coordination of follow-up interviews with selected participants.
Beyond execution, you will contribute to the analytical backbone of the study by integrating global data into a master file, defining the analysis approach, and running quantitative analyses (e.g., correlation analysis) using relevant statistical tools. You will visualize findings through dashboards and presentations, support the preparation of country-specific outputs and the final flagship reports, and collaborate with marketing, editorial, and PR teams to drive activation and impact across BCG and externally.
In addition to the Decoding Global Talent study, you will gain exposure to broader BCG Vantage initiatives within the People & Organization practice. This may include contributing to IP development projects, supporting case teams, and learning how we translate expertise into impactful client solutions. You will gain first-hand insight into how BCG operates at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and thought leadership.
You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.
